I think it's really sweet that his sister was his muse; he must have loved her & admired her bravery a great deal- to immortalise her like that...

Maisie looks great in this but it is a shame that they didn't cast a French actress. As a French person, I know that there are many great local actresses who could have played Catherine Dior and portrayed the complexities of France's culture, heritage and history. This series would have been a great opportunity to discover new French talent and to give them the chance of sharing their country's history with the world.

It is very touching to live through this story and see all it's most beautiful and incredibly sad moments. To see how brave and encouraged people were during and after times of war. One of my favorite scenes is where Christian shares a piece of chocolate with his friend. They share this very rare and special treat, break it up and cheer to each other. Congratulations to the whole crew, all actors, directors and writers pulling off this show. Stories with depth like this one are honey to the soul :)
  • Maisie did an incredible job with the role, but that's fairly easy considering the material she had to work with and how amazing Catherine Dior's life was.

She did a stunning job in this series. I am curious if they will mention their niece? I wanted so much more about her story than Chanel’s.
