Cynthia feels like an educated, sophisticated, and seasoned champion. She feels like the type of Champion who truly has crushed hundreds, or even thousands of skilled trainers on their way to the top, but she also seems refined enough to give you a warm smile and invite you to celebrate your victory over her with some tea and talks about how you managed to build such a powerful team, right before going to the Unova for a vacation

My Torterra was lvl 75 and rest of my team was around 60s I still got stomped lol. That Garchomp HURTS.

Let's face it: Not counting Red, no matter how seasoned of a trainer we are, Cynthia's always been our toughest challenge. We plough through the Elite Four of every region and then destroy their champion. Sinnoh's the lone exception. We crush the Elite Four and then get crushed. Who agrees?

Okay, my team is level 50, I think I can get through easily with a lot of full restore Elite Four average level 55 Cool, that was easy, now let's get to cynth- Garchomp level 62 oh.

This is fucking Sick. Cynthia is by far the best champion, and Garchomp is my favorite Dragon. This really captures how actually hard this fight was. I remember my first time playing Diamond and she kicked my ass three of four times before I finally beat her.

The first time i battled her in diamond was an nightmare When I found her in black and white ptsd hit hard

when you think about it, cynthias team has some amazing type coverage. (im going off her team from white) majority of her pokemon have little to no weaknesses (talking about her spiritomb and elektross with LEVITATE???), i mean you can even put her team into a chart, the type coverage is actually incredible considering she's not some competitive nerd sitting in their moms basement playing pokemon.
