Recording & Gutting — Part 3: Pin Orientation using a spiral follower

Published 2024-06-16
How to show pin orientation using a spiral follower. I also show how to use a V follower to easily reassemble the lock with less chance of a fumble than when using a flat ended follower. I use an ASSA Twin 6000 for the example.
2024/06/21 — I just noticed that I put the gins back in upside-down. The example still works for how the V side functions—just don't duplicate my orientation. :P
