Mom is a microbiologist/scientist. Son smells gloves for a living. I would love to be at this Christmas dinner
  • If there is ever a top gear for motorbikes, you should be the presenter. Always great.
  • @kw2519
His mom being a scientist, is definitely the reason Ryan follows the scientific method with all his videos.

"One stitch, two stitch, when you fall it won't hurt like a bitch. " Love this line, awesome video!

Déjà vu! The first version of this video had an audio glitch, so if you’re seeing it for the second time today... c’est la vie. ~RF9

Hint, size up on the 2nd hand leather jacket and wear an armored vest/shirt under, no sewing required. They start at roughly the same cost as D30. Mine was $40+/-(USD). Also, aramid base layers, with/without armor pockets, are also available.

Ryan is a massive nerd BUT his love for bikes and his clever facetiousness makes him as cool as they get! Love your videos!
  • i liked the salesman bit so much i watched it twice- this morning and again now! your vids are hilarious, AND full of useful info. your killin it man.
  • @X0TrueAlpha0X

Love the video.. As I get older I find putting my motorcycle on the center stand a little more difficult, years ago when some manufactures had small fold out handles AKA BMW this was less of a problem..so my solution and as I ride alone was to install the right passenger peg on the left side of the motorcycle in place of the one that’s normally there and now I have a sturdy fold up handle to aide me in hoisting the bike up on the center stand..

"stop having a soggy wife stop having a soggy life" lmao made my day

The recommendation of no fabric softener is great. We now apply this to all our laundry. With a bit of ammonia the laundry never goes sour. Thank you!

We used to use a brown paper bag over the chest inside the Jean jacket when teens. It kept the cold wind out and the heat from torso in. Worked a charm. Kept us riding long in to British winter nights. Also the humour in this channel is Awesome.

Even though I've seen your videos before, I love repeating them. You guys are so talented, original material, and RyanF9 is very good at acting. Best wishes to you all at FortNine

For the last trick, instead of zip locks I always carry a thick microfiber car drying towel on the bottom of my bike panniers. Comes in handy to dry the saddle if it gets wet, and on cold mornings I lay it in front of my chest inside my jacket for a very warm layer that really works well.
  • @tomcooney183
I used the foam back armour from my other jacket as a chest insulation when riding on a cold road trip, never been warmer!!
  • Great tips. I love the ladder idea. Must make it easier to do fork seals 👍
