  • Prayers for your Dad and family. It is so hard when our folks get older, something everyone at some point goes through unfortunately.

How about a “No Buy July” and just use all of the things we haven’t seen in a long time on your channel? You are about to start “The Season of Holiday Makeup” and you will be bombarded! A bit of rest from purchasing during the summer might be a welcome break and a boost to get you going when the holiday makeup hits? My brain can take off in what I call the spinnies and it always includes me worrying about things that will most likely never happen. Hang in there and sending good vibes your way! 💕

Sometimes a cry is what a girl needs. Stress is real! Praying your dad feels better soon.❤
  • @ruth4489
Glad you are doing video on makeup.we have forgotten about. I love those, especially since the economy is getting worse and I'm using a little more drugstore makeup but only after I have hit pan. I think EVERYONE is stressed right now. My mom has end stage cancer and as her caretaker it is a lot, I even stopped wearing makeup for a few weeks. My husband noticed and told me, "just wear cheap makeup, you have a lot, might as well use it, it makes you feel better". I laughed and thought it was funny because he has never been one to talk about my makeup but I think after 18 yrs of marriage, men know what it is that makes you feel better. After slapping on makeup and putting hair up in a ponytail, you do feel like you can conquer the world. Especially with a great lip gloss, I use Josie Maran and the glosses from Lancome, the juicy tube. Oh and I will pray for your dad, God be with him.
  • Some days you just need a good cry to release all of the stress tension, some that you didn't even realize was building up inside. I had one of those days last week. Prayers for your dad's health, for Tyler's new venture, and for you and your whole family, Em. I know when there's clutter, it makes me feel claustrophobic and anxious. I love your look, Emily. 🥰
  • A good cry is sometimes the best thing for us. You said it let you sleep really well. And we viewers get to see how you work around the aftereffects with your fabulous makeup skills! Plus, you seem to have super energy! So it's a win-win! Prayers for you all - but especially for you. Hope you stay the course and stay in touch with your inner self. Thanks for the video!

Hey Em. I would love to see a video about your 60 hard- what you’re eating, what exercises your doing, what resources you used, and how you’re doing it, lessons you learned, etc.Beauty is not just about makeup. I mean caring for our skin from the inside out is perfect for having healthy skin to begin with before you use make up. Perhaps in a day in the life vlog. Just a thought. Would also like to hear the books you are reading or suggestions for the reading portion of it.
  • Also! One of your old Beauty Broadcast vids popped up (like 13 years ago) and it was Best Berry Lipsticks and I showed my husband. He lit up and said “Omg that’s Em! It’s amazing how much she hasn’t aged!”

For our viewing pleasure. Everything you post is a pleasure to view. Praying for your Dad and for you.
  • Crying is completely needed it’s your emotions being released and they’re totally valid . Appreciate you getting on here even when you have things going on 💖.

Emily you're just a joy to watch and thankful for the honesty in all spaces. You're not the only one who is getting emotional right now. There's so much going on. Us as women as mothers feel it the most as we try to fill many spots with many titles. Meditating in the quiet really does help. Grounding in nature. Journaling. Reading the Word. Just praying. We just have to find that secret place where we can release and be refreshed. I had a friend tell me if you don't break down at least once a week in this world you might not have a soul. It's heavy. But we have these spaces we can go to to get away. To be creative. To find some joy. Thank you for being a part of my space of sanity. Watching my mama get ready was such a special time growing up so YouTube really helps me to "escape" into something I am passionate and joyful over. It's more than just makeup. I'll be praying for your dad. For Bubs firm. For the girls. Mostly for you and all the hats you wear. May we be restful and peaceful spaces in a world that is going mad. 🙏🏼

The EM palette looked scary at first, but the look is interesting in a painterly way. It really does give sunset vibes.
  • Emily, I think you should write down all your lip combinations and post them. You come up with the prettiest looks. You're always a pleasure to watch, and your stories are always fun. Many blessings
  • @ChilleeMac
Prayers and love to you and your family. Caring for our parents can be heartbreaking at times. I'm dealing with the recent loss of my mother and trying to slow down and appreciate all the memories. Your Dad sounds like a fighter. God bless!

I love those small Matte Putty Poreless Primer jars! They help my makeup go on do much more smoothly, especially on areas where my pores tend to "poke out" from beneath my foundation. They are also sized perfectly for travel. ❤❤❤

Make-up, yes!! Always good to stay in routine. I am sorry your Dad isn't feeling well. It's important to just remember that he is older and will ocassionally not feel well. Having been through and losing both parents to cancer, I know that it is also fear. Please remember to be here now and in the moment. If a cry makes you feel better, cry! Also, please consider reaching out to a support group. And finally give yourself grace. BIG hug. ❤
  • Good morning Emily! Sorry you’re feeling stressed—sending you a big, virtual hug! ❤😊 I just said a prayer for your dad.

Emily has the life alot of us wish we had. I’ve never seen a more authentically nice person on social media, ever. You can tell how her kids interact with her that this is who she is. No drama, nothing like that. She really is one of the number 1-5 best beauty influencers. I’ve been her for so long, she didn’t even have children and wasn’t even thinking about it yet, probably. I feel like I know her.
