This is one of the most creative movies ever made. I’m obsessed with it.

I love how the two children towards the end make the song so small and quiet before the grand finale, it's great.

I love how they specifically say they aren't mean they just like a good scare which I love they aren't evil

I just love the fact that "The Nightmare Before Christmas" can be a Halloween movie and a Christmas movie :)

This movie is almost 30 years old and holds up incredibly well, happy Halloween haha.

Some movies are so timeless that you remember them forever. This is definitely one of them.
  • My family and I see this as a Thanksgiving movie, because it’s right in between Halloween and Christmas. It helps that Jack learns to be thankful for what he has.

That scene with Jack rising from the well at 2:50 has got to be one of the most epic scenes in Disney movies ever.
  • 2:30 Idk why, but when Jack shoves the torch into his mouth, I get chills every time, it kind of shows what kind of beast he is

This song never gets old. One of my favorite films since I was a kid. Happy Halloween 2023! 💀😈👻🎃

I love the “I’m The Who when you call who’s there” Genius! Its mysterious and creepy and you don’t know who said it too!
  • This is one of the greatest, most epic character introductions; but also world introductions. In three minutes, we’re introduced to the inhabitants of Halloween Town, their individualistic personalities, the tone of the movie, and then to Jack who is clearly portrayed as the main protagonist. Absolutely love this movie.

"That's our job, but we're not mean" Idk why I just love that lyric so much. It goes to show that while these guys are scary looking and they do nothing but scaring people, it's just what they do and they're not necessarily malicious nor evil about it. It is their way of life and it's all they know. Other things like Christmas is a huge alien concept to them.

Happy 30th Anniversary to my second favorite movie of all time, The Nightmare Before Christmas!!! This movie means so much to me. It's the film that got my obsession started with my favorite movie director, Tim Burton. I have seen all of his films, and they are all masterpieces. It also made me fall in love with Burton's iconic visual style and creativity. The stop motion animation holds up SPECTACULARLY to this day!! The iconic songs are great, and I know them all by heart. The score by my favorite composer, Danny Elfman who also provided Jack Skellington's singing voice, is nothing short of whimsical and beautiful. I have never loved a film as much as The Nightmare Before Christmas, and I will continue to love and cherish it for the rest of my life!

I love how the monsters and scares become more abstract as the song progresses. We go from monsters with big sharp teeth and red glowing eyes, to the literal shadow thrown across the moon. Such a cool detail!

This movie has now turned 30 years old. Amazing how much it holds up in terms of visual appeal, music, and absolute charm. Happy 30 year anniversary! 💀 🎉

This song never disappoints. Happy 30th anniversary to the best Halloween-Christmas movie of all time and happy Halloween everyone!
