Group Captain Jim Walls was the same chap who raced the Bugatti Veyron in his Typhoon on Top Gear.

Wow, I didn't realise that the typhoon is so advanced that it doesn't need a squadron of aircraft techies to keep it serviceable. Keep up the good work chefs and PTIs, you're the real heros

Saw one of these bad boys on display at the Swansea air show on Saturday. Have to say that it's a truly amazing plane and my hat is off to all the men / women of the RAF who're piloting this beast, looking forward to seeing it again next year ^^

Once paid a visit to RAF St Mawgan. Lovely people, very dedicated and professional... As a country we should be proud of them..

The Typhoon is so powerful that it can takeoff with a full load and not need the afterburners.
  • Stunning video. Will hopefully be making Lossiemouth my local (ish) base soon. Looking forward to it.

I was on detachment at lossi in 92, I loved it. They had tonkers and bucs up there the bucs where getting binned but a few where still flying. They also had hunters there as well. A busy camp.

That breakfast in the Mess looked amazing. That Culinary Team is on point. It takes a total team to make any Military Unit work, but when everyone is getting started with great food it works so much better.

Yeah, the aircraft computer can monitor speed and oil but... Can it run Crysis?
