telling the story, loving his tone even before the added grit, very pleasing to the ear. He does push it a little when it come to the gruff but also finds places for a more natural, cleaner sound (not for long tho) He has something there.

I'm not really a fan of his singing accent, but I can see how the growly country voice would be appealing. Him being a firefighter is awesome, I have to say that.

I haven't really watched this show before, but sort of turned it on in to this performance between commercials of something else on Monday night. Didn't see the other performer who went on in this showdown, but I was surprised he didn't! I thought he was very good like the judges said, even though I never heard this song before to my recollection!
