The overall goal of a biomedical engineer is to improve the quality and effectiveness of patient care. BMEs can work in research, design, manufacturing and many other departments of healthcare industries, such as pharmaceuticals and medical devices.

Enjoy problem solving and critical thinking (core of any engineering degree) 3. Improving health and quality of life (help others out) 4. Opportunity to study up to any level (BA, MA, or Dr) 5.
