That shit is heartbreaking. Layne's story didn't have to end the way it ended. How I wish he was still with us. :(
-
Fascinating seeing Layne and Mike in the prime of their lives. It makes me so sad to see two physically healthy guys and know what lies ahead for them.
-
it's crazy that this footage is over 30 years old, probably just sitting in a void somewhere, and all these years later we get to see it.
-
Guys sound better in a sound check than most bands live.
-
I love that a video of the band doing a random sound check is only 7 days old and still gets 147k views. Awesome that the fanbase is still there. Would give my left nut to go back to the day this was filmed
-
This is the type of footage I love to watch. Behind the scenes shit. The every day grind. Before shows. Etc.
-
it's beautiful and hard seeing Layne and Mike so young and healthy. so much talent in those two guys
-
I met Layne on this tour in NJ. He was hanging out by the tour buses, and he was super cool. Got a pic. Back when you had to get the film developed. RIP Layne and Mike.
-
sucks that these two are gone...Such a great band..R.I.P Mike and Layne
-
Omg I love how Mike Starr is casually playing cover riffs and everyone's straight chillin doin their thing
-
I love how goofy Layne could be despite all his demons. What an amazing dude and wonderful musician.
-
omg They are just babies here. What I wouldn't give to go back to this day and be in this place.
-
There is not one band today that can even hold a candle to these guys
-
6:45 Sean Kinney just CRUSHING it! In the pocket 100%.
-
The bass line at the beginning of Would is probably one of the best in rock history. This sound check/video is great and it catapults me back to those days in the early 90s when I was a fresh young adult.
-
91 we had a healthy Layne and Kurt , what a great year performance wise
-
I just love how we're starting to get better quality videos of this era like this literally looks it was filmed a couple years back
-
I walked right by Mike Starr on Colorado Boulevard in Pasadena just a few weeks before he died. It was so surreal and very sad.
-
What a gem. Seeing Mike and Layne enjoy doing what they love and goofing around is so cool. Before their demons took over sadly
