Auto wah. Not just the capital of Canada.
-
She's a nice person great player happy for her success
-
She makes a great point when she points out not getting caught up in “I need a Rectifier” or “I need a JCM800 sound” and just using your ears.
-
a seasoned vet of a musician once told me "I've never been boo'd off stage because I didn't have tubes in my amp"
-
Awesome that she does this- I stopped chasing tone a few years ago, sold my $4,000 boutique amp and bought a Katana. Nobody in the audience cares what your gear is, they only care if they like the music and it sounds OK. Only other guitar players look at what you're using.

6:00 *Kirk Hammett smashes through the wall like the Kool-Aid Man*
-
One of the most level headed rock guitarists I have ever heard. How many would sit down on the floor and demo their gear?
-
Nita is a beast! She’s not trying to be anybody else - she’s true to herself and her fans know what to expect each time she hits the stage.
-
I saw Nita twice on tour with Alice Cooper.. she's a friggin BEAST
-
That clean sound is so 80's, it sounds great!

So I just went out and bought myself a GT-1000. The decision was probably 40% driven by this video. Zero regrets. The thing is bloody amazing. My abilities are never going to scratch the surface of what it can do, but more than happy to have something that won't limit me. Would love to get some of Nita's patches for it....

In all the interviews of Nita Strauss that I've watched, she always comes across as being a very nice, humble, and friendly person.
-
It's great to see her behind the scenes. She's so down to earth and focused, really an inspiration to me.
-
She has such simple approach to getting sounds & gear. Very impressive.
-
I could watch her all day. Her enthusiasm for what she does is so genuine and amazing to see.
-
Nita is just a down to earth player and very kind and willing to teach. Very cool. And love that she uses the Boss. The dweebs on the Gear Page would dismiss this rig in a second 🙄
-
What a class act and just inspirational as an outstanding guitarist. That's amazing that's all you have for a setup. Coming from a guy that had a JCM 800 and a double stack, pedals, cables, blah.
-
40 years on guitar and I'm a purist. Plug and play...no pedals. I don't tapdance. BUT...I bought this thing after seeing this vid and I will never look back. It goes with me from my live rig to the studio. It is BY FAR the best processor I have ever seen, and it was enough to teach this old cat new tricks.

Love Nita. Such a well rounded musician with a great personality. She seems to be grounded in common sense.
