I was born in a christian home. I grew up thinking my parents were forcing christianity on me. Until I had a personal encounter when I left home for tertiary. I always thank God for not giving up on me.

I've been struggling alot with failures and setbacks due to a rare mental illness known as schizoaffective disorder. It's basically schizophrenia & bipolar disorder. It only affects 0.3% of the population. God has been showing me that I'm not a mistake or a failure. And that he wants me to rest and know that my life is in his control. Even when it doesn't make sense. God bless.❤

i clicked on this because i recognized the picture. When i first became saved easter 2012 in the middle of a church service, i felt an overpowering presence descending from above the ceiling of the church. As it did i sort of left my body and was viewing myself from below my body looking up at the ceiling and i saw a dovelike spirit with a 40-50 ft wingspan made of pure white fire descending onto my body. When it went into me i felt a love so intense its impossible to try to describe. i slowly went back into my body as the love and power radiating from the spirit coursed through me. As it happened, my senses were turned off but i could tell i was back in my body. Years later i read about the dovelike holy spirit descending on Yeshua and i was like ah so that's what that was. It still ticks me to see Jesus movies where the dove is a literal dove because its not. The holy spirit is.. well.. a spirit

Heavenly Father, in the Name of Jesus Christ I pray that you will have mercy on me and restore and deliver me like you did with Job. Forgive me of not fully trusting your before and walking in Fear. I surrender to your plans and believe you will provide. Thank you that your love never fails. Help me to love you and people with your pure love. AMEN.
