We are so blessed to be able to see this all these years later

The thing I love the most is that she is singing about black pain in a sea of white faces
-
honestly feel so lucky to be seeing footage of her performing

There will never be another artist like the great Nina Simone.

2023 and I just introduced my 55 year old Aunty to the amazingly talented Nina Simone. I was shocked she didn’t know this timeless legend. But it’s never too late and I’m l glad I got to show her what she unfortunately missed out on. I’m 32 btw. Queen @NinaSamone will always live while I’m alive!

What a genuinely spiritual encounter.
-
Such a great audience, they respected and knew the importance of the art and the artist.

The way she sings this song about this brown baby is so powerful and moving. Usually I sing along to songs I know. When Nina sings it’s like she’s talking directly to all the children. All the brown I just get quite and emotional when she sings that song.

One of the most intense singing performances I've ever seen
