I was an abused child. Right around when this song was on the air. It makes me tear up because I always wanted the family she sings about. But now I can give that to my kids.
  • This is one of my favorite old songs, when I hear this I always like to cry,and being lonely.I am watching this until this May 24,2024
  • I believe that somewhere in the world, there are people who feel the same emotions that I feel when I listen to masterpieces like this song.

This is my favorite video of Dolores . I first heard her in the early 90s. Loved the way she sang. Was in my 40s then. Now Im 73 and I can appreciate how swiftly life passes. And now this song makes me cry and miss my family, who have all passed on . Enjoy your family while you have it . And live life all you can . Thank you, Dolores, for your beautiful songs . RIP .

Still listening to her lovely voice. I used to commute to university listening to Doroles and The Cranberries all day. Rest in peace our heavenly Muse.

RIP Dolores. This reminds me of my mother, who lived with substance use and mental health disorders. During the last 10 years of Mom's life, she lived mostly substance-free in an apartment with many friends nearby. We had our struggles with each other, and I felt guilt over the years due to my inability to help Mom. Her behaviors made me leave her for years at a time. But those last 10 years are precious to me because I helped her to get to that point of independence and she was mostly happy. I cherish those memories. Mom died last year. Today is her birthday. I played this song to remember Mom. I wish Dolores had received the help she needed when she was still here. To everyone here who's lost loved ones to substance use and who are themselves in recovery. You are all loved and deserving of love.
  • It's my mom's favorite song and she even put this on her watch later. She enjoyed a lot of songs from The Cranberries and I grew up liking it too. My mom just passed away yesterday due to COVID19 and I hope she could still listen to this song wherever she is. I hope she's happier and in a much better place.

Rest in peace Dolores, you are a big part of my life 😭...
  • Thank you Dad for playing their songs when I was a kid. I was the luckiest kid in the world.

Когда я первый раз услышал эту песню, мне было 16 лет. И сейчас когда мне уже 45 лет, испытываю те же положительные эмоции. И это супер, Долорес ты лучшая!

Understand the things I say Don't turn away from me 'Cause I've spent half my life out there You wouldn't disagree Do you see me? Do you see? Do you like me? Do you like me standing there? Do you notice? Do you know? Do you see me? Do you see me? Does anyone care? Unhappiness where's when I was young And we didn't give a damn 'Cause we were raised To see life as fun and take it if we can My mother, my mother she hold me Did she hold me ,when I was out there My father, my father, he liked me Oh he liked me,does anyone care? Understand what I've become It wasn't my design And people everywhere think Something better than I am But I miss you, I miss 'Cause I liked it. I liked it When I was out there Do you know this ? D'you know You did not find me, you did not find Does anyone care? Unhappiness was when I was young, And we didn't give a damn 'Cause we were raised To see life as fun, and take it if we can My mother, my mother she hold me Did she hold me ,when I was out there My father, my father, he liked me Oh he liked me,does anyone care? does anyone care?
  • June 2024 and still here. The melodic and melancholy chord changes of this track never leave you.
