Haunted by a devastating encounter with a tornado, Kate Cooper gets lured back to the open plains by her friend, Javi, to test a groundbreaking new tracking system. She soon crosses paths with Tyler Owens, a charming but reckless social-media superstar who thrives on posting his storm-chasing adventures. As storm season intensifies, Kate, Tyler and their competing teams find themselves in a fight for their lives as multiple systems converge over central Oklahoma.

i like that this film is doing its own thing, we get a new twister film and it doesn't tarnish the legacy of the original film.

I watched this in theaters on Thursday and now it’s my favorite movie

I took my family to see Twisters this past Sunday since there was a need for extras. So, what the heck. Very fast paced film. Well directed. Fun atmosphere and they were correct about weather. Day 1 an actual storm rolled in with real lightning in the vicinity. Was like a hurricane with all the rain coming down.
