Built around the 1740s, Bayly House is possibly the oldest dwelling in Cambridge, Maryland. It is believed that the house was located in Oxford, Maryland before being relocated to Cambridge in the 1750s, and then move to High Street to allow the Dorchester County Courthouse to be built. Over the last few years, archaeological excavations at the house and property have determined that that building had multiple uses including being used as a home for the enslaved. The house is part of the Harriet Tubman Underground Railroad Byway.

This is one of twelve properties documented in partnership with Preservation Maryland. NCPTT scanned this building using a Faro Focus Laser Scanner to produce this video flythrough of the building's point cloud digital model.
