Thank you for the honest review! I'm not tall, so I think this may still be my best option - the canopy issue has been resolved as of November 2020. All newly purchases strollers will include the extended canopy.

Thank you for sharing your honest review. I hate the canopy situation you described. And my husband and I are taller. So this one’s out. Sooo good to know. Thanks!

My Tall Wife and myself say thank you for your candor. Weve been narrowing our choices and this helped Tremendously.

This is such a great review. Thank you so much for your honesty.

I've been waiting for an honest review of this! Thank you! I would love to hear/see what stroller you finally decided on that is better than this!
  • @idardik
Thank you!! My husband is 6'3" so you just saved me from having to buy and inevitably return it. The limitation with the handlebar height was my biggest reservation about the stroller and I've read many reviews online which were inconsistent about this issue, but I felt like a lot of them were sponsored and couldn't be taken honestly. So thank you!!

I absolutely LOVEEEE the mockingbird stroller! Everything about it!
  • This was so helpful, thank you! My husband is 6'3" so we're definitely looking for something he can use comfortably and your demonstration of the handlebar was just what we needed to help us rule this out for our family.
  • Thank you so much for this! I've been torn between this stroller and another. I'm 6'2, so I definitely appreciate this review from a fellow tall mom.

Thank you for such an honest review. I am staying away from the Mockingbird stroller because of your insightful review.
  • Omg yes!!! I had the same exact problem!!!! Grrrl thank you for your honest review, I sold mine too and ended up with a nuna.
  • This was very helpful. I am taller than average at 5 foot 9 inches and my husband is right at 6 foot. It would have been a big issue and I'm glad for these details on this stroller so I can apply them to strollers with similar features. The canapy problem is something I notice in many other strollers and is a very important feature to me.

Hey everyone! A few updates from 2022: When watching this video, please keep in mind this review was made in 2020, and Mockingbird has made some adjustments to their strollers since then. I've heard they now offer an extended canopy. (Mine did unzip into a peekaboo window, but it did not extend the canopy). Also, they are now apparently sold in some Targets. I haven't seen any on display in my local store, but you could probably find one if you wanted to try in store. For me, the bar between the back wheels was a non-negotiable issue, but a couple of tall people have commented on this video and said they didn't have the same issue, so perhaps the problem with the bar comes down to a variety of factors i.e. height, stride, activity.

Sooo glad i watched this!! I’ve been getting all the ads for this stroller and I thought yay cheaper uppa, but I’d be annoyed by the same things. Thank you!
  • Thank you for this video. This was critical info. My husband is 6'1" and I'm 5'3". Its important for the stroller to work for both of us.
  • @Engineerbydey
Thanks so much for this review. I'm 6'3 and I was considering this stroller but this review made my mind up.

I’ve been using the mockingbird stroller for eight months now and overall I’m very happy with it. I understand her biggest issue is that it’s not best for her height. With that being the case I would probably sell it too but as far as the shade, the canopy does have a zipper that goes all across where you can have a bigger opening other than the peek window. Also the basket has a side pocket where you can put the magnetic shade so it doesn’t feel like you have to carry it around all the time and it doesn’t take up any space from the basket. I agree the the canopy is a bit short but in my experience it hasn’t really been an issue. Loved the video, very honest. Just thought I could tell my experience in case anyone it helps anyone decide on their future stroller. 😊

Thank you for your honest review. Just received this stroller as a baby shower gift. Now i am paying all the attention to the points you mentioned. Helps me make my informed decision if I should keep it or exchange for something else.

I appreciate your honest review SO much! This was the stroller that I’ve been leaning towards because it has a great price point and it seemed like great quality. But like you said, there’s nowhere to actually go view it and check it out. Thank you!
