Ugh the views thing is something new in kpop. Only recently that social media has gained so much power fandoms are obsessed with views and open 157889 tabs to stream an mv. And the fact that Cassiopeias (tvxq's fandom) lived through the ballons and lightstick eras means that they are grown up men and women with jobs and kids aka no time to spend streaming. Xiumin and rainbow's jisook are well known tvxq fans and both are nearly 30. They suport their group by buying albums and going to concerts

Thank you so much for reacting to TVXQ!! They do deserve more love! I agree with some of the earlier comments. I think most of the Cassies are already at their careers / family high points of their lives, & they support by other means. Since TVXQ debut in 2003 and gathered fans who were then in their teens or twenties...now they would be thirties to forties. Sure some would move on, some new ones will join the fandom...however the loyal Cassies will still be there 😊

Cassies are too busy with real life to stream YouTube videos all day. They're the type to just watch the video once or twice then download for their own phones, like how things were done back in the day. Their fans come out in full force during their concerts though, because that's when their support actually matters because the guys actually earn money from concerts, not YouTube views. 💁🏻

you said it right. It feels like TVXQ and it's great.( I love this side of kpop tbh) One of my favorite songs of this year so far. "Shine" by Pentagon is up there too... well so many good releases this year. and yea sadly. Fanbases shrink most of the time after about 3 years. K-Pop is changing so fast that most popular groups don't get to shine (uhem watch pentagons new mv) for many years. TVXQ is still popular but not as much as a few years back.. sadly. (Respect to BigBang for being on top for sooooo long and probably forever. they are true legends)
