High in the Indian Himalayas || Hiking to Kuari Pass||

Snowfall was very late in the Indian Himalayas in the last winters. But when it came, it came in abundance. Longing for a Snow hike, I searched for the trails and set out for Kuari pass. The highest snowfall of the season occurred when I was on the trail. Weather became so extreme that we had to change the course of the trail and itinerary. Instead of covering the full circuit we went up and back. The remaining days I spent exploring local areas and villages. I went to see the Jyotirmath in Joshimath and got to hear the stories.
