Can I beat AI Yugi with his Starter Deck? (from 2002)

In the anime Yugi Moto is the "King of Games" however, anyone who played the TCG in 2002 knows his starter deck wasn't great. This is obviously due to the many differences in TCG cards and their anime counterparts. However, some mad lad over at Kiba corp. decided it'd be a good idea to make a duel AI that uses Yugi's anime deck with all of it's original effects. Can I beat it only using the starter deck we had on the playground?
