  • "I'm going to tell you everything you've heard 100 times in the last 11 months" would have been a better title for this video

Well...we all learned absolutely nothing from this video

I’m a drummer and I really do miss him! He stood for what I believe drummers are all about. We’re not just the guys who sit at the back. Taylor made drumming look exciting and lived and breathed drums and a total inspiration! His relationship with Dave was special and another reason why the FF gained such affection. I’ll miss seeing those teeth of Taylor whilst he gave it 100% behind the kit. So sad …. But his spirit lives on. RIP Taylor

Anyone that is a fan of The Hawk, all share the same vibe....even though we never knew him personally....we all felt a connection, like a long lost brother. As a drummer I felt like he was a part of my growth and I just understood him and his love for music. Not to mention Dave and Taylor's bromance was one of the most beautiful sights to witness. Thank you Dave, thank you Foos, and thank you Taylor....wherever you are ❤️❤️❤️

He was a really sweet guy who easily made friends with rock legends. Oceans of love and sympathy to Taylor's family.

I've always been a fan of the foo fighters and I caught the last hour of the tribute concert for Taylor Hawking on TV having no idea who died until it became clear with all the foo fighters songs being performed by other artists Then "there goes my hero" came on with a very young man playing the drums and I lost it! I knew right away that he must be playing for his Dad because as it so often goes with musicians, that kind of artistry can't be learned as its something your born with. It's in your soul and as much a part of you as breathing. I feel so bad for Taylors son to lose your dad at such a pivotal age is a crying shame. A loss like that changes a person and leaves a scar that will never heal. My heart goes out to all of the people who's lives are forever changed by the sudden and unexpected death of someone who was so talented and who without a doubt left an imprint on the world that is a better place because he lived! LIFE IS ENERGY.....ENERGY CREATES LIFE ....THEREFORE ENERGY NEVER DIES.

I still can't believe he is gone. I saw him live literally a week before his passing. He was so full of life and energy and I felt absolutely devastated when I heard the news. Not to mention it happened just before their concert.
  • It is known, they have booked multiple festivals for the spring, summer, and fall. Also, his son goes by his middle name, Shane, not Oliver.
  • This is still fresh for me. I think of Taylor, I see his performing and the tears are right there. RIP Taylor, RIP Neal Peart.
  • ❤🥺I’m still speechless… this definitely was out of nowhere when the news hit… A good person and amazing talent gone way too soon…

  • Of course, he has a big heart. They said he had a heart like an athlete's heart. He plays a 3-hour show. That is incredible. Talk about athlete.

If youve never made your living on the road, its easy to judge the drug use that always happens on the road. It is a hard way to live, and the people who stay healthy have to plan being on the road very carefully. They take their families. They allocate time and energy to take care of their health.
  • Thank You Purple Queen for everything you said!! As a former Registered Nurse for 20 years, 14 on a Cardiac Step down unit and 6 in the Emergency Department, I have been listening to people and reading the garbage social media has spread since Taylor Hawkins died. My job included being involved in sudden cardiac arrest codes many times. Perhaps the Hotel was not properly equipped to handle guests requiring immediate attention to save them. Think about the football player who had cardiac arrest on an NFL field this year. CPR and Advanced Cardiac Life Support saved him. If a defibrillator and external pacemaker are not available, CPR can keep the patient stable for a long time until the ambulance arrives or code team arrives, or if need be you do a scoop and run. Taylor was an extraordinary athlete with a known diagnosis of an enlarged heart. That is why he did so much cardio on mountain bikes. To keep his body in shape to fulfill his passion and commitment to being a spectacular musician and human being. He was the best. Sympathy and love to all who lost a magical individual. Drugs had nothing to do with it.
