I have endured severe and sustained abuse by my natural parents. Endured 7 years of foster care,fought off an attempted bashing, and survived open heart surgery. Despite all of this, I failed to commit suicide. As a result, things got much better and I am happy I made my choice. The choice to Live! Like a Phoenix rising from the ashes, I am living proof that it gets better!
