I discovered phoebe a month before my brother was found in a bathtub with pill bottles scattered across the floor. He was resuscitated but spent time in a coma and months in the hospital. Doctors thought he’d be a 2 year old the rest of his life. This album was my comfort blanket during that time. The night we got the call I drank my house empty of alcohol and cried in my bed while listening to this. I still love it even though it brings some hard memories. Every word of this album is seared into my memory and will always stay thy way.

I can’t think of a better song about a brother- sister bond than this one.

This is everything good in the world. She wrote the song about her brother and he created the video. It captures the fun and innocence I experienced growing up with my own brother. Beautifully done Phoebe and Jackson.

I love the opening lyric where she says "playing would you rather,when it comes to fire you always said that you'd prefer to drown".To me fire in this song represents their childhood home.So her brother choosing drowning over fire kinda shows that he would prefer anything than his house and the childhood he went through...

this song makes me so emotional because in high school when I listened exclusively to Bright Eyes, I liked to think of Conor as an older brother during hard times.
