X-Men fans be hating me for saying this, but this technically wasn't the first time the X-Men were going to crossover into DC comics boarders. (Detective Comics™) Static Shock apparently had a canceled episode that was halfway through production before DC comics vetoed Kid's WB network's decision. The X-Men would have come from an alternate universe where mutant Racism was even harsher than in Static's world, and the X-Men would be really surprised to find out that in DC universe, mutant racism wasn't as severe. This is what I read on a wikipedia page. Apparently Scott Summers played a big role in the episode's synopsis. but DC Comics, AKA "Detective Comics" said no X-Men, and it was likely half of the board hated Marvel, and half of the corporate board was just hating. Establishing new crossover policies in the process. There would be no more Marvel crossovers with DC. (I hope Lego bypasses that policy one more time)
