Wtf is wrong with people, children are playing at a splash pad and they open fire. Two little boys get shot because some POS feels like shooting up a water park where kids are playing? Humanity just seems lost at this point

This sheriff impresses me, you can tell this is a very involved sheriff who is there on the front lines and leads his team.

Never did I think I'd ever see the headline splashpad shooting update

It's so unfortunate we can't go anywhere without these wild maniacs on the loose....SMH

3 people all from one family shot at what should be a safe place!! Prayers to all the victims and their families 🙏🏾
  • LE got there in 2 minutes, but some of you have rude things to say about them. I personally like this sheriff, he seems like a good caring man. Go ahead and say bad things about LE, that is until you need help then they are your heroes. Try walking in their shoes, im willing to bet most of you would crawl away screaming for your mommy
  • My heart breaks for the victims and their loved ones, as well as their communities. This Sheriff is outstanding. He's so clear, so willing to share pertinent information, and not afraid to share his own feelings about this horrible situation.
  • Prayers for the victims,their families,and first responders.😢🙏

Somebody with a car could have easily done this. I think the reason that most killers don’t use cars for mass killings is that guns are more of a shock factor. This will obviously be used as a political weapon for gun control activists. We have a mental health crisis in this country that is not being addressed. I went to the VA hospital for my own issues that I’m trying to get help with that I suffered through military service. The VA canceled my therapy appointment and made the decision not to treat me and ignored what other doctors have documented. Veterans affairs has no problem giving me medication though. They have no problem treating symptoms when what I need is to treat the actual root of the problem and the tools to handle the stress and solve that problem. I think that civilian psychiatrists and psychologists are doing the same thing and that is what is happening in this country. Just throw artificial chemicals made in a factory into somebody’s system to maybe get addicted to later, instead of trying to get them help from professionals who spent 4-6 years in college learning how to help people like this person work through thier issues.

God Speed to the Victim's . I think people should avoid big crowds to many people with serious mental health it's just too dangerous.

  • I hope whoever needs this sees this: live in light. I know it can be hard when some f*cker brings this kind of darkness to your doorstep.. the trick is, the guy was clearly miserable and he wanted other people to feel his misery too. Don’t let him win. Ground yourself in the goodness all around you it is there. For if you go looking for darkness you will find it and if you go looking for light you will also find it. If you feel you’re getting caught up in the darkness know the light is out there somewhere, just seek it out and you will find it eventually.. especially when the dust settles after something like this.
  • I grew up on dequindre and mackwood rd and rode my bike in that area back in the 60s and 70s . It was a quiet, fun, safe place to live back then, hearing this is so horrific

The world's gone nuts. Satan isn't even trying to hide anymore
  • I think law enforcement did an excellent job in preventing more tragedy and injuries,,lm not in Michigan but l commend the L.E way and speed in handling the situation .

Sick. Hoping for the best for all victims.

Cops are great, but they are always too late. People need to be ready and able to protect each other.
