dang I was wondering who played bass on this track when I first heard it. Turns out it was just Domi’s left hand.

I was introduced to modern jazz say in the 70's with Chic Corea, John McLaughlin and later on Yellow Jackets and so on. Now these two (kids?) come along and turn what was a complex world of accompanied jazz (keyboards, bass, guitar, drums etc) all layered with sophistication and they break it down to minimalist sophistication in the most palatable way that I immediately got it. For me it's a whole new world. 🙏🏼 I'm so grateful Domi & Beck❤🙏🏼

DOMi and JD make me think of a parallel universe where children are encouraged to be themselves, be creative and explore their abilities and discover what they like and what they want to do. Their music is imaginative, complex but digestible, and groovy AF. Can't believe it's 2 people doing everything! They're total bosses.

I love JDs drumming on this. I’ve often heard others criticize his drumming as being too much but I think you can see him carefully rein in his chops on this performance to do exactly what the tune needs. Love seeing the continued growth and excellence from you two!!

Official i love jd becks drumming and domis layers on top. I have no idea what is going on and my academic music brain is in a state of confusion but i feel gooood when i hear this so my brain says this is awesome
