In shower wash routine that isn't talked about in this video:

I shampoo my roots only and rinse with warm water, then apply my conditioner to the length of my hair only (from nape of my neck down). I then detangle with my fingers or a Wet Brush and let the conditioner sit in my hair while I finish my shower. To rinse the conditioner out, I will flip my hair forward and rinse the conditioner out while brushing my hair with my fingers. This is how I get all of my hair smoothed forward as you see at the beginning of this video.

Explanation of plopping my hair in a t-shirt:

Plopping absorbs water from my hair without creating frizz and gives my curls a chance to form on their own before I scrunch the last bit of water out of my hair after the 15 minutes of plopping. (Video on how I tie the t-shirt around my head coming very soon!)

Finally! Someone who doesn’t use over 20 products. Thank you 😭
  • @ramshafarooq
I love how she doesn't use a shit ton of products or does very difficult and lengthy steps and how she jumps right into the video without any unnecessary intro or talking. Loved this SO MUCH!
  • @farzblue9725
This was the best and simplest curly routine I have seen on youtube and I have watched so many 😁 thanks for not using 100 products. Also please do a second day curl refreshing tutorial

Thank you for this! I’m so tired of the videos where the girls use 10 to 15 different products. I own enough product to start my own store… You explained it short, sweet, simple and to the point — wonderful!

Your facial structure so perfect .. eye color is so beautiful...

I just went through around 20 videos to look for a simple yet accurate routine for a friend who wants to embrace her curls. Yours is the winner! And your curls are stunning- I am jealous lol
  • Finally someone who shows us what is said in the title, with actions instead of constant yapping. Thanks for this. Do some bloggers ever stop yap yap yapping, so annoying. Don't know how anyone stands to watch them 🤣 This girls got a nice smooth voice 👌

This is one of the first videos I watched when I started my curly hair journey. It was a life saver. It also saved me from buying a ton of products. Just a tip for all those ladies with thinner hair. Don't add a ton of leave in conditioner It really weighs it down in my experience. I just add the gel and follow the rest of her steps and it turns out nice, curly and full.
  • I have been working on my curly routine for 3 years now and lately, as my hair has gotten longer, my technique had me applying wayyyy too much product throughout my hair. I decided to start looking around at different application techniques again and yours was a GAME CHANGER! I have a similar pattern to your hair and noticed in newer videos, your long hair was my #goals! I realized I also prioritize volume over definition so your routine was so helpful! Thank you for such concise and direct videos! side note you are gorgeous!! 🤩
  • @RubysMusings
FINALLY a curly girl that air dries and still gets volume!! Also someone who does not do the separate sections thing etc etc. I am definitely going to try this next wash day.
  • @sharnoops5290
I have such a poor curl pattern now. Nearly 20yrs ears of heavy heat and dye to look like the rest of my straight-haired family. Smh. This is the first affordable hair care routine I have seen and I am 100% on board.
  • @longyarn4288
A word of caution: please make sure the conditioner you're using as a leave-in is formulated specifically for use as a leave-in. Wash out conditioners are not PH balanced which can cause problems like hair loss. I'd hate to see that gorgeous mane of yours diminished in any way! Not Your Mother's Curl Talk and TréLuxe are two lines that I know of that have duel wash out or leave-in conditioners. I'm sure if you check around you can find an inexpensive leave-in. Also, if your hair isn't quite so soppy wet, you shouldn't have to use as much product and won't loose as much when you scrunch. Because a lot of it is coming back out with the water. It cuts down on drying time as well. 👍👍

I’ve been on and off with curly girl and your video has been the most helpful out there. You answered a lot of troubleshooting questions I had. I’ll be trying this again tomorrow. Thank you!
  • Finally! Someone that also doesn’t use a diffuser or heat or 150 different products in their hair! Can’t wait to give this a try!
  • @arlenevianney
GORGEOUS HAIR!!!!!!!! And you’re so so beautiful as well!!! So happy I found your channel 💕
  • @cindyguerra7926
I love how simple this routine and affordable this routine is! Definitely going to try it!

I have watched hours upon hours of curly girl videos, never achieving good results and always feeling confused and Overwhelmed! After coming across you on Instagram which lead me to your YouTube page,! After watching your one Video that you have posted you have given me so much hope for my hair and I have already seen improvement with just one wash day after explaining so simply how to apply the stylers. And I know I don’t have to use so many different products that are so expensive. Thank you for also explaining how you rinse the conditioner out. Flipping my head forward and combing through with my fingers and then applying the leave in on fully wet hair flipped forward made Such a difference!! I can’t wait to learn more from you the next time you post a video. I usually watch curly videos, walking away feeling hopeless and confused. But now I don’t feel so lost and am feeling hope in embracing my curly hair. Thank you for explaining things so simply!!😀
  • The easiest, quickest and simple way to style the curls with the basic products! Love it!
  • @palmerzona8244
I’ve seen a lot of curly hair routines in my day and yours is one of the best. Amazing results.
