The Last Bastion cinematic from 6 years ago makes a lot more sense now, it's almost poetic. An Omnic designed to destroy humans, waking up with a choice, seeing the consequences of war, and choosing to kick it in the woods with Ganymede instead.

After watching this, Ramattra’s disdain for Anubis is understandable. From what I can tell, he wants freedom, and Anubis to him is like an evil god who held him and his people prisoner. Also interesting to know what the deal with the Iris is.

So. . . Aurora is Echo's predecessor. That voice interaction makes sense, now.

Far as I can tell Anubis saw humanity as threat to earths ecology hence the war. Classic storyline

Well now it explains why bastion went red for a moment. Like as if the Anubis ai tried to recontrol him, only for the bird to show his choice.

So they sacrificed a Sentient Robot that could make Choices in a Machine, so she could give all Mindless Robot the ability to make a Choices as well? And some helped others still Fought. Well now this makes the Omnics more than Us Human's now, they can make choices..

I I genuinely cried at the end, and I don't really know why? I just felt happiness all over my body. Is this what religious people feel? Is this what people felt when they heard the Buddha? Did aurora reach illumination? Why do I ask this? I'm not even a Buddhist but all this came to me while watching the video.

I really would've, wanted to see what could've been done with the story mode. Seeing the possibility of more enemies and new PVE designs.

So correct me if I am wrong here, but as I understand it the story goes that Anubis sees what humanity does to earth, then acts upon it? Pretty much what todays AI researchers is warning us about what will happen if we develop a super intelligence in real life.

So uh… I just thought of something. If the story progresses to a Second Awakening, do you think ECHO would have to step up the way Aurora did?
