A method of implementing the gate decoupling mod that looks fairly legit. Can only be done if buzzer is removed, the upper and lower pad on the left-hand side of the buzzer are not connected to anything and are only there to hold that side of the buzzer anchored to the pcb.

However, I may add an led light + appropriate resistor across the buzzer power pads to have a visual cue rather than the buzzer from hell.
