Trisha! I'm a plumber, you should run your shower every now and then in that room. It probably smells because you dont use the shower enough and water is evaporating from the p trap and letting gases in. If you run the water for that shower every now and then, it should help the smell. You can also put some mineral oil because it won't evaporate. ❤

If you don't use the shower/ sink in that bath, the " pipe gas trap " water evaporates and dries out and allows the sewage gas to seep up thru .. just run the shower/ sink/flush once a week or so to fill the drain traps with water and it will stop that pipe gas smell. Just simply run the water periodically. That's how it works .. if you don't use it, it dries out the " trap".
