Maybe legs aside, road cyclists are certainly not known for having muscles. Bodybuilders on the other hand, are all about strength and massive muscles. You could say that bodybuilders and cyclists are polar opposites. Well then, what would happen if a bodybuilder went head-to-head with a cyclist? Hank and Ollie met champion bodybuilder Brad Parker for some challenges!

This is what we need more of. People from different worlds getting a new appreciation for each other
  • Respect to Brad. Proper humble guy, up for a laugh and went all in on the challenge. Top bloke.
  • big guy was so humble all throughout the challenge. Big love and respect
  • As a former bodybuilder myself I can vouch for the cardiovascular benefits of cycling for bodybuilders , it was so much better to get out on a real bike instead of grinding away on a stationary in the gym looking at a wall, and also theres huge benefits from cycling for adding detail and separation in the legs, it did wonders for my calves as well tbh. Also bear in mind Tom platz was a keen cyclist
  • Need to get Brad on a velodrome..... I suspect his flying 200 would be insane for a beginner.
  • @deathmetalsl
As someone who has been lifting for about a decade and only recently got into cycling I was incredibly humbled the first few days I cycled. Loved this video GCN!
  • @leah5280_
PLEASE HAVE ONE OF YOUR CYCLISTS COMPETE IN A SHORT SPRINT RACE (1-2 mins) WITH GREG DOUCETTE! It would be so awesome to see, given that he does already cycle.
  • @yujimin1100
Go ahead and have a match up with Coach Greg He will take you on

There's a stigma that goes along with most blokes of this size, all walking around giving it "Billy big balls". Having said that, I take my hat off to Brad. Firstly for accepting the challenge to take on the beast that is Ollie and secondly, for going into it most likely knowing he'd come second. We're all different and can't all be good at everything, fair play Brad đź‘Ť
  • Brad is a great sport, and clearly an anaerobic monster. GCN, you should definitely have Brad try some velodrome sprints.
  • Who's here after coach Greg's video? BTW I am a cyclist and an advanced bodybuilder too, which is why I completely agree with him.
  • Would love to see more from Brad! I'm a former bodybuilder myself who has switched over to cycling and it has been so much fun seeing my body adapt. I also love seeing how incredibly well optimized each person's body is to the task they perform respectively
  • Fair play to Brad, first time on a bike in 6years carrying all that oxygen sucking mass and managed to finish the climb. Love to see a mass wattage test over different times
  • @jemster7196
Being a recreational lifter myself and an avid cycling enthusiast. Can totally relate to this content. There is alot of back and forth within the 2 communities that one cannot successfully do both. Which is definitely true, but it's definitely possible to be good at both, just not the best.
  • @villiano1
props to brad for doing this "competition". there's no way anyone who doesn't bike regularly would ever be able to come close to those GCN dudes. Those guys probably put in 200+ miles a week.
  • @mattsouth831
The human body is crazy. Well done to brad, a lot of people hate cycling uphills even veteran cyclists so to say brad who's a bodybuilder did that is very impressive.
  • @OrionEJ
Call out Coach Greg to the hill
