Catching Bass on a Texas Rig worm is easy if you follow this simple How To. Realistic bass fishing class is now in session and this is Texas Rigs 101. With a weight and a worm hook, you can fish many different styles of worms. I catch bass on a ribbon tail worm, as well as a curly tail and finesse worm. The Texas Rig works great for many styles of worms, and it catches bass. Different colors, different shapas, different lengths can all be fished on a texas rig. I hope these easy tips can help you catch more bass!

I never went bass fishing before, but I've been subbed to your channel for a while. I bought myself a cheap little baitcaster and went out to a pond this morning and caught my first ever large mouth (17"!) using a Texas rig after learning how by watching your channel. So I just wanted to say thanks and I love your channel!
  • I finally realized why I love these videos so much- you get as excited as the 99.9% of all of us out there to get a fish, and flat-out stoked when you find something as big as a three pounder. You can only watch so many dudes with their $50k boats, landing monsters before you lose sight of what made us love pounding the banks as kids. That tick-tick-tick on the end of the line is all that matters.

1:25 bro you explained it perfectly for a new beginner like me. I always wondered why the point of the hook was below the plastic. But that simple demonstration showed me why! I know, it’s embarrassing for me to even say that....but I have no shame in saying I’m brand new to all of this and I’m willing to learn as much as I can! Thank you!
  • @meranbrendle
Thank you! I need all the pointers I can get!! I’m just beginning to learn how to use soft plastics so this was FABULOUS!! 😊
  • Just stumbled upon this channel - I love how straightforward and to the point it is. No gimmicks, just the techniques, and you seem like the type of fisherman who'd be a good dude to get a beer with. Subscribed!
  • I really like that you show every cast damn near even if its not a fish cause it shows how tuff the bite can be even when you use something you know catches fish

Thanks for not having a loud ego driven 30 second intro. Your methods work. Thanks for uploading.

Sorry I know this video is 3yrs ago but new subscriber fisherman and wrestling fan...thanks for the Texas rig hook up... I've tried to get it down with out messing up my lures did the step by step you showed and got it down perfect...and thanks for doing it step by step and not like other anglers who show you and speak so fast by the time you catch up they already have it in the water..so again thank you lol .....and "I'm keeping it realistic"

I love how you take your time to explain the technique and to show a very calm and pro retrieve through the grass.

After being away from fishing for 20+ years, I’m slowly getting gear and getting back out there from time to time (work permitting). This rig reminds me of my childhood days. Thank you!

I've been watching videos about bank fishing for a few weeks trying to get tips. This is literally the first video I've came across that broke things down simply. Thanks for posting. Please make more like this!
