We can't get anywhere near £50m for Antony. It was widely known that we valued him at £25m ...and he's certainly not increased in value.
  • @craiggmelville
    1. Sacho (negative impact on club), 2. Harry (not suited for the system) & 3. Antony (has not worked and best to go!)
  • @C81M
Sancho is on huge wages that very few clubs can afford & everyone knows United are desperate to sell….we’ll be lucky to get 25 - 30m for him
  • @scottsinner7530
I hope this is a 5-part series, for the 15 or so we REALLY need to sell. 😬

Absolute opinion with no insight: The Ten Hag/Sancho beef does have to do with Antony, but it was reflexive and exponential. Sancho probably doesn't work hard in training and doesn't follow direction well and wakes up late all the time and is kind of a douche; Ten Hag knew that, and bought Antony, who, while he isn't talented like Sancho, does work hard, does wake up, does practice hard, and does follow direction. Ten Hag was hoping Sancho would see talent isn't everything, up his responsibility, and get to it. Instead, Sancho got angry like a toddler that Antony was starting ahead of him even though he has less talent and couldn't resolve it was due to the fact Antony is just a harder worker than him in every aspect. So dummies were spat. It's so 14 years old I can barely stand it.
  • @MrLePov
No one is even interested in Antony, let alone gonna bid £40m for him 🤣🤣🤣
  • Maguire needs to go. The whole system has to change to accommodate his weaknesses. We sit deeper and can’t play out meaning we end up pinned back defending our own box with no out ball.
  • @gickball1
Realistically, who's paying 40 for Antony?
  • @sbhh2
My guess is that we gonna get 30 mill only for all of those players
  • @bilborocky2423
How do you imagine we cut our losses with Antony? What club would buy him and pay his wages. He’s staying for years, simple as that.
  • @craig1669
If dortmund want him back, they need to give us a full refund. He's got another few years on his contract so we don't have to sell him. If he's that desperate to go, but the money is an issue, he should accept the massive wage cut to facilitate the move. The talent is there. He will do well for them. I see no reason why we should lose out on tens of millions because the spoilt brat has had a tantrum and spat his dummy out. Hes seen Martials career nosedive through greed. Id rather let him rot on the bench than let him go back to dortmund on the cheap. I know we need to raise funds, but you CANNOT let the player win in this situation, and we cant be seen to be selling a player back to any club for a lot less than we paid. Ineos need to set a standard in their first transfer window that shows other chief execs we will not be bullied into paying or losing over the odds. We need to build a reputation like daniel levy at spurs. Nobody goes to spurs for a player unless you have serious cash to spend.
  • @JMaestro-ck9is
Mctominay is by far the first who needs to go, absolutely no use in a starting line up.. can make a good profit on him and replace him with someone who can actually pass a ball
  • @JakeDriver
Not being able to sell properly has massively bit us on the arse imo. We spend fuck tonnes yet sell players for a fiver and some skips.
  • @christian2880
I thought it was known that our PSR and FFP are not only not limited, but MUCH BETTER this summer compared to any of the last three seasons because of extreme wages being moved on (varane, martial, etc), champions league last season, and most importantly, the 21/22 season is no longer taken into account (our worst financial loss probably ever) Reasoning for selling this summer is for the cash fiscally in hand, which is a problem, not PSR.
  • Dortmund make the champions league every year and would have raked in the cash from making the final. Not to mention, haaland, sancho, Bellingham etc being sold. We shouldn’t do them any favours.
  • @kyle2999
Before sanchos loan back to dotmund, I never would’ve thought we could get €50m especially with his wages. I think the best move for Antony is send him out on loan and hope he can show something in another league. He’s also got off field issues that would make some clubs look elsewhere and he doesn’t have anywhere near the ability to make clubs look past those issues.
  • @XboneMalone
We're in a luxurious position as Utd fans, being able to possibly triple the number you've chosen here and still (probably) have a few good shouts that don't make the cut. But we won't be doing 'a City' and getting new sponsorships from companies Jim owns, nor will we 'Chelsea it' and sell Carrington to Jim so as you said, it's likely this might take longer than hoped (the failure last summer to move some on was criminal).
  • @JayKayDowdall
Sancho will not be sold, nobody will pay his wages and he's already shown he's quite happy to sit and home and collect a cheque while doing nothing. He will be loaned back to Dortmund for next season, 50/50 wages.
  • @scottstorm7765
Out: Rashford, Antony, Casemiro, Sancho, Maquire, AWB In: 1x full back, 2x CB, DM, Olise, Chiesa, greenwood back
