My sketchbooks are just various pretty women, the occasional ugly study, and random scraps of paper, but it makes me happy :). Honestly just adding color and collaging a little makes a big difference in aesthetic.

I know you say you didn’t love the flower piece, but it has got to be one of my top favorite pieces from you yet! I think it beautifully encapsulates the brighter colors you use, with the textures you havee been working on adding with other mediums like the neo color 2s. Plus I think it forced your textures to be more spontaneous like you tend to aim for in pieces. I think it’s a great launching point for more pieces to come! Always adore watching your process and videos. Thank you sooo much for the feast of the eyes, I eat this shit up!

I also highly recommend the turner acrylic japanesque gouache! It has a lovely texture that drys almost chalky but I a great way, and it's fun to draw with colored pencils on top, the colors are also based off of tradional Japanese pigemnts!

I really love your sketchbook sessions, they’ve inspired me to work in mine way more frequently now which is something I’ve been wanting to do and you pushed me to do it! :) do you ever spray your sketchbook pages with a fix spray to prevent transfer?
