"When Hollywood says a genre is 'dead' is because they made a bunch of bad movies about it." YES. THANK YOU. So much truth to this. Willing to blame it on the genre rather than own up to the facts that they made bad movies. Its the same with traditionally animated movies.

Watched 1883 last week, I've now watched 1883, 1929, and I'm working on Yellowstone. This man is a treasure, bringing my favorite genre back and making it better.
-
His film "wind river" is amazing. Great filmmaker.
-
"If the mountains don't feel a need to move, why should I?" Best quote ever.
-
I still remember Sheridan as Officer Hale from SOA… he has come a very long way
-
One of the best western shows so far. All the actors play their part so well. Can’t wait for season five ❤️
-
I think Yellowstone has the edge out of all his shows. It’s a western in a contemporary setting, more people can relate to it.
-
1883 was the best western I’ve ever seen.

I am from the south of Russia, Krasnodar, Western Caucasus. It's amazing how many are similar. Here, too, the culture of the Cossacks, natural horsemen, has practically died out, there are practically no horses and cows left, everything has been plowed up for corn and wheat or given over to tourism. There is also a national park with a population of bison, this is the European bison. When watching this series, the thought often arises that there are no two more similar peoples than Russian and American, although it's hard to believe, but it's true. And it is a pity that someone constantly needs to make enemies out of us.

My dad never watched more than the evening news and football on Sundays now he's completely hooked on Yellowstone.he watched the entire show over a 2 day catchup showing.

Taylor Sheridan is a freaking genius, absolutely love Yellowstone. Huge fan of Mayor of Kingstown and Tulsa King too. Please continue to make more of these amazing shows.
-
I watched 1883 on a weekend and I started watching Yellowstone right away. 1883 is an emotional roller coaster.

Just imagine having all this stuff in your head about a series, and actually being able to sit down and put it all on paper, and write all of these characters lines, and you have an idea for this character, and where you want this one to go, just an incredible talent, writers just don`t get the credit they deserve, the actors of Yellowstone tell you it`s all Taylor, there just is not that many talented story tellers like this guy anymore.
-
I have so much respect for Taylor Sheridan.
-
In only 7 years Sheridan has become one of the most prolific and hardest working writer/producer/directors in Hollywood. Mad respect.
-
I LOVE ANYTHING TAYLOR SHERIDAN WRITES!
-
This says it all--if you love horses you can relate. "I make movies to support my horse habit. "
-
I knew from watching Taylor on the horses he was more than just an actor. I had no idea he was such an important part of this show but to find out all this is incredible. Bravo
-
Yellowstone is amazing. Violent, dark, but full of soul and character. I've watched it several times through.

I became addicted to this show from the first episode. I've bought Every Season. And cherish them all. These people are genius. Of course Taylor to begin with for writing it...
