I learned that the co-axial rotor configuration eliminates the need for a tail rotor; reducing drag and improving speed and maneuverability. You will too because they say it 3 TIMES in the video. Stellar editing.

Both V-280 and S-97 are great for Army’s QRF for time sensitive missions
  • On 5 December 2022, the US Army selected the rival Bell V-280 Valor as the winner of the Future Long-Range Assault Aircraft program. Thus, cancelling the SB-1 Defiant.

Man that Raider looks stunning even without knowing its specs...

Once i saw an American helicopter flying upside down, I've been convinced the American military thinks of everything
  • @196cupcake
The V280 is going to have about twice the range of the MH-60, which will be pretty important for the Pacific.

Americas freedom is not cheap, there is a cost to it. In money, are technology is the best in the world. A cost of lives defending are freedoms. The worst thing a person can do, is betray their country. That gave us the freedom , and opportunity in this country.

Well they have to, because it looks like the Osprey is a widowmaker
  • @johnhopkins6260
The huge "danger keep away" warning on the tail reminds me of the lawnmower sticker: "do not pick up and use as hedge trimmer"
  • @portnuefflyer
I've got a Popular Science magazine from the early '50's, showing something similar. It's been a long desired thing, airplane speed and rotary wing landing performance.
  • @prilep5
    Finally VTOL that makes sense

Need a decent editor to remove all the repetition - e.g. how many times was ‘coaxial counter rotating and pusher propellor’ repeated. Thanks for the video, but could be better

The next generations helicopter will always belongs to MADE IN USA
  • @user-gv1tx1wo3s
The strength and hugeness are apparent from her external appearance, and she will undoubtedly be very strong and intelligent, and she is the creation of great America. 🇺🇲👍💯

the only thing i really would add to the one helicopter is a 2nd tail, forward of the first... why... to help hide the exhaust from the sides. think like an a-10. the way it is now, it will help protect the rear pusher/puller prop blade... but the exhaust can still be seen from the sides really easily i'd bet. maybe a short wing with the same sort of tail build on each side of the exhaust with thermal absorbing tiles, like the ones used in nasa/space x.. to absorb heat and block visibility of the exhaust? anyhow that is what came to mind for me anyhow. peace. as a bonus, if the tail is hit by the rear prop, and fails to function or perform its "duty"... then maybe the other set could help with turning when using that pusher/pull prop as well. or improve the turn rate compared to what it is now if needed.

Badass, say thanks fer the ole gyrocopter, utilizing the pusher propeller
  • @dman0044
A real version of Airwolf with super long rage(500 -1000 miles).
  • Script was too repetitive I heard the coaxial propeller description at least 4 times.
