    After watching this tournament I'm pretty sure that Aronian's destiny simply doesn't allow him to win any tournaments, like dude he was so close and out of nowhere he started losing a bunch of games in a row , and even so he had a very close score in the end

    Why didn't Aronian played Bxf3! when Alireza played Qb5? That's a chance to weaken the KS structure. Qxh3 afterwards is not possible because of Bxc7. Instead the bishop retreated to g6 (Bg6). Although, he might fear that Alireza will use the g-file to attack his king via Kh2 and Rg1. I still think this to better than the game continuation.
