Hey heads up! The raccoon in the video is killed. We left the footage in for educational reasons only to show you one of the easiest and fastest method of dispatch. It only covers a few moments in the middle, but if you're disconnected from nature and just beginning to explore life and death on the farm on a personal and deeper level then this fair warning is for you.

Raccoons can be a real problem on farms and homesteads. They are incredible at killing large numbers of birds as well as eating out all your grains as well as trash and move into buildings and do considerable damage. While physical, permanent barriers are always the best and longest lasting solutions, there are occasions where trapping is the best tool for the situation.

Here's my recommendations for trapping equipment to get started:

-Dobbins Coon Candy Lure: amzn.to/3e3KGSV
