That's a great hobby for your son to get into! He will find a silver soon I am sure! Wish I could get out and hunt. But we got 4or5 inches of snow on the ground. With more on the way! Good luck to your son!

I commend you for seeking out and getting permission to detect on private property. There is another youtuber metal detectionist who just walks onto abandoned properties that are still owned and just ransacks them. He never mentions that he has permission to do so, either. So I strongly suspect he does not have permission.
