Got stuck on the cable car, stuck on the Ferris wheel and the Mouse!!! Aaahhh the Joy of a day in Blackpool!!!
  • @nottud
I miss Truma Towers and I just heard problems with "River Caves" (My favourite childhood ride). I hope it survives and reopens!
  • @jetsetter797
Wow. I remember most of these. How old am I?!! 🤣🤣 One of my all-time favourites was the "Wild Mouse" rollercoaster. Why did they get rid of that? The Wild Mouse was truly truly fabulous! 🤔
  • @brantnuttall
9:47 didn't remember the whip until I saw it here. Now I know why. I did it once and it gave me the dizzies like you wouldn't believe.

Such a massive shame how the Town & Park have declined, some new hotels and tram stations falls waaaay short on what Blackpool really needs. Sad times.
  • @jennybates
The Turtle Chase, The Water Chute and The Whip were my fave rides. I miss them.
  • I hope there's a museum at Blackpool for all the rides from the earliest to recent as the fair rides are part of our history thanks for sharing this video.
  • @jayneknight2675
I miss so many rides from years ago if they aren't careful it will lose its appeal
  • @katyann73
I loved Tokaydo Express and The Whip 😀
  • @donkeykong7777
Wow, that brought back some childhood memories from the 70's. One ride comes to mind, mainly because at the time it seemed so sketchy, was a ride where you sat on a horse which went round a course on a single rail. I think there were two rails side by side, and there were long drops if for some reason you fell off. I'd like to see footage of that to see if it was as I remember.
  • @Charlzey1998
I didn't know that the cableway station was turned into Lokis Bar! 😱
  • Wow where on earth did you get that footage of the Rainbow from? There's hardly any video footage of that ride anywhere? Only pictures. Blackpool definitely needs to get that ride back. It was absolutely stunning.
  • This is fabulous! I lost my watch on Monster in 1994. Did anyone come across it? 🤣 Was never aware that it had been there that long. Tokaydu Express was great. You could feel the G force when it went into that bend
  • @brantnuttall
didn't do rainbow but did Starship Enterprise which I think was there before it.
  • @davidlewis6475
Was that Fred Dibnah on the water chute at the beginning?
  • @katashworth41
I’m sure that the workers on Trauma Towers would dread the school trips as we would get somewhat rowdy on it. I say we, I actually mean the rest of the people in my year, I was a saint.

Blackpool is a town whose sea is filled with sewage. The pleasure beach is stuck in the 70's, but want to farm data. No wonder it is dying.
