Great video! Very inclusive. Love it. My wife stumbled upon your YouTube. We’re presently in the market for a CO2 laser machine. Since we’re already producing and selling T-shirts, owning an engraving marking will add to our business. I thought that was the only means to apply patches to hats, regardless of the type of glue you’re using. Very interesting.

Thank You! Looking to work with leather on my laser cutter for the first time and this was SO useful to me. I hadn't considered making the hat patches - have been looking more in the knit/crochet notions space, but now I want to at least make hats for family and friends. I'm particularly grateful for the sourcing, lightburn cut settings, and finishing info.

Great video, Garrett! Absolutely love the airbrush for resolene! I’ve been using an old spray bottle and brushing it on, but think it’s time to upgrade.

If you want to save time and have a hat press use Hydbond adhesive to adhere your patch for a permanent bond.

Great video, thanks so much for sharing your experience. PS that cement would be great decanted into an old (clean) ketchup bottle to make easier pouring 😉
