  • For future reference you can call your hotel and ask for double rinsed linens. Let them know you have sensitive skin and they will most likely work with you. I'm a former housekeeper. The same goes for hospital stays.
  • When I decant thick products, I put some in a shallow dish then use a child's medicinal syringe to transfer it to a smaller tube/container. I also refill travel sized toothpaste from a larger tube by butting the nozzles together and gently squeezing from the full sized product into the smaller one. Much more cost effective than buying replacement travel sizes every time. After a couple of trips, I can toss the used tubes along the way and create a bit more room in my toiletry bag coming home.

It's nice to see how you did that! Your video is great! I found a video on youtube two years ago showing a woman taking a Korean skincare routine with (I want to say) 16 items, plus basic toiletries (Over 30+ products in all!) and reduce it down to a sandwich ziplock back using the same airless pump bottles, along with very small spray bottles. It featured so many different styles of small bottles/pumps/sprays. The video was genius, but I can no longer find it. I started doing this myself and it's the best. The airless pump lasts me a little over 2 weeks, at minimum. In order to get thick creams into the airless pumps I got syringes with no needles. (Like a baby medicine syringe). It was so much easier than a small funnel. I got a few because they were free from Walgreens or CVS, but they were worth the trip to run out to get!

I now use fragrance-free laundry detergent sheets for my regular laundry. For travel, I just put some in Ziploc bag. If you're sink washing, just use part of sheet. A whole sheet for a regular washer load. There are several brands that make this type of product but most have fragrance and I, like you, have sensitive skin and avoid fragrances. I found the brand Earth Breeze, which has both fragrance and fragrance-free versions. Plus it's super eco friendly.

I’m very impressed Lori. Makes me so keen to pack just what I need. Cheers from 🇦🇺

This video was great. You really broke it down and made everything make sense. I was going to avoid as many liquids as possible but clarifying that it has to fit in that bag was very insightful so I can save money and decant them into smaller containers. Thank you!

Anither great video Lori with excellent tips and advice. I travel often but have really learned from watching this. Thank you and keep them coming 👍💕
  • Love your video. I've been packing my 1 quart bag too, and am relieved that I'm doing it all the right way 😃, thanks so much.
  • Thank you for recapping the video at the end. I rarely see that done. Good video!
  • Loved the tapping and filling of the little containers. Very satisfying. Plus labeling! ❤😊❤
  • Lori you are so cute!! I recently discovered your videos and I’m loving them!! I am a notorious overpacker and you are giving me hope!!! 😂

I’ve finally met someone like me!! I have super sensitive skin and suffer from rosacea as well. Heat and synthetic sunscreens irritate my skin and cause heat rash. I love those little airless pump bottles and I use them to decant everything when I travel. Love this video….I hope all your products served you well and that you enjoyed your trip. Hugs from Mary in Florida🌺
  • You could use the Johnson shampoo for cleaning clothes. I have done that and it works well.
  • Hi Lori. Travel blessings when you travel to Thailand. Hope the Captain and yourself just enjoy your travel time. Say hello to Paigh and Chuck. Great travel tips. Great video. You both stay safe. Cheers. Alex and Richard from Tasmania Australia 🇦🇺

Such a classy lady. It’s the lash shampoo for me 😂😂😂😂. I really enjoyed the video… thank you 🙏🏾
  • My daughters and my hubby also have very sensitive skin. For vacation i use Sheets laundry sheets. They are dehydrated sheets like fabric softener sheets. Wonderful for Travel and they come in unscented and uncolored.
  • Very good 👍 I always take laundry soap with me too. Thanks 😊
