There was nothing more heroic than rescuing African children and placing them on the helicopter as this theme blasted.
-
that's an enemy gunship. One burst from its machinegun can tear a man in half.
-
Actually describes the plot well if you pay attention
-
This is the best extraction song. The first lyrics are "You're leaving now"
-
This and Take On Me are my typical chopper songs I swear.
-
This song is about Konami talking to Kojima ;)
-
"THIS IS PEQUOD ARRIVING SHORTLY AT LZ, WILL STAND BY"
-
Thanks to Kojima putting this song into the game. I´d probably would never heard of this awesome band. Can´t stop listening to their songs
-
YES YES YES. This is my Pequod theme

You're leaving now It's in your eyes There's no disguising it It really comes as no surprise To find that you planned it all along I see it now Becomes so clear Your insincerity And me all starry-eyed You'd think that I would have known by now Now, sure as the sun will cross the sky This lie is over Lost, like the tears that used to tide me over One thing is sure That time will tell (Only time will tell) If you were wrong The brightest ring around the moon Will darken when I die Now, sure as the sun will cross the sky This lie is over Lost, like the tears that used to tide me over You're leaving now It's in your eyes There's no disguising it It really comes as no surprise To find that you planned it all along I see it now Becomes so clear Your insincerity And me all starry-eyed You'd think that I would have known by now Now, sure as the sun will cross the sky This lie is over Lost, like the tears that used to tide me over You're on your own Inside your room (Only time will tell) You're claiming victory You were just using me And there is no one you can use now One thing is sure That time will tell

this song really describes Miller after he finds out the truth about Big Boss
-
Kojima's tastes are so good I have trouble trusting the artistic intent of any other game I buy
-
-
When you exit the chopper and start running across the map while Quiet is leaping ahead of you.
-
What's old becomes new again...the beauty of life.
-
This makes me want to play the game more
-
Doctor: I'm sorry you only have 4 minutes and 47 seconds to live Me: plays this and dies happy
-
SPOILERS I'd like to think that this song would be like the leitmotif of Kazuhira Miller, what with Big Boss abandoning him, and the rest of MSF and Diamond Dogs to pursue his own war against the Patriots and it does have the feel of anger and betrayal that Miller has had against Big Boss. I'm guessing it's because of two lines from this song: "I see it now It comes so clear Your insincerity And me all starry eyed You think that I would have known by now" And... "You're on your own Inside your room You're claiming victory You were just using me And there is no one you can use now" (I'd like to think that this could be foreshadowing the demise of Big Boss in MG2)

For anybody who doesnt know when they start of the game it starts around in 1984 so the music makes sense it takes place in the 80s

Do you remember me now?
