Every year, more solar inverter brands arrive in Australia. Choice is great, but can be confusing. If you're looking to buy a solar system, which inverter should you choose?
I think the best people to answer this question are those who have to install, commission, maintain and support these inverters every day.
In the 2022 SolarQuotes Installers Choice Awards, I asked hundreds of installers in the SQ network to vote for inverters they'd be happy to have on their homes in two categories - money no object and budget.

Note: While choosing a good inverter brand is really important, equally as important is installation quality. Even a top brand installed badly won't perform as well as it should, and may have other more serious problems.

Hi, have a question on performance with a 10kw system, panels facing both NE and NW. Recently on a clear sunny day I was getting 38-40kw a day but with the rain I've been lucky to get 2kw is this normal? Thanks

Replaced Sungrow with Fronius due to a high frequency noise issue , could not be happier . The fact that Fronius have all connections internally is much better . With Sungrow anyone can disconnect the wifi dongle and cables and run off with the inverter. The quality difference is worth the money and the inbuilt lcd display is heaps better along with the app and web interface. Sungrow support is poor compared to Fronius took us 3-4months to get an issue resolved buy Sungrow which they could not fix.

What are your criteria to decide on which one is better than another? Without such information this video is useless.
