CORRECTIONS Episode 1 (Seth's Version): Week of Monday, April 1

Published 2024-04-04
Seth Meyers takes a moment to address some of the errors from this week of Late Night, like mispronouncing the name of a children's book character and doing a Nicolas Cage impression that sounded like Andy Samberg doing a Cage impression.

I can't wait for Seth to do Corrections live. The Errors Tour.
  • @TrevorCopter
Not to inflate Seth’s ego, but I feel like I watch Late Night as the filler episodes of the show I really follow: Corrections

Look, can we talk about how good that Nestle Lielsen / Shirley joke was for anyone over the age of 40? :: chef's kiss ::
  • I recently told my wife about Seth and Corrections. What a masterful combination of wit, chaos, and levity. How a whole community has sprung up, with inside jokes and drama. How I've laughed until I cried too many times to count. She just replied "who is Seth Meyers?"
  • @kiki__21
The weeks-long 100th episode bit that’s concluded with restarting the episode number is the kind of chaos that defines Corrections.
  • @russellmc03
I hope there's never a 100th episode and we just continue down this rabbithole indefinitely
  • Car Nerd Spouse, who is a jackal by proxy, just muttered “Ferraris don’t make tractors, Lamborghini does”
  • @Jen_Wick
The Corrections that brought us Bird Bane is Emmy worthy
  • @Green_Ev
Isn't saying that Seth looks “like a childless dog owner from LA” the same as just saying that he looks like his brother?
  • @Ferinex_666
Seth started advertising Corrections at the end of Closer Looks. In that ad, he tells people they'd have to start at episode 1 to understand anything, but now there's an episode 1 and an episode 1 (Seth's Version) lmao.
  • @louishickman
i love that the subtitles for corrections sometimes say, "single laugh." unclear if that's in studio or in general.
  • @crithon
"we don't mic the crew, but half the crew are Mike." LMAO
  • @TheUberjammer
To think that, years from now, Seth will start up a podcast with his brother called "Family Trips with the Meyers Brothers".
  • @RiellysWayback
I listen to corrections for 3 to 6 hours each night to keep the PTSD horrors at bay. I know every beat of every episode just like a song on the radio. Listening to Seth do a (pissed off) impersonation of Seth is the highlight of my weekend.

Those rejected Scollins jokes were AMAZING! I understand not airing them but thank you for sharing with us.
  • @marsbitrona5920
Never has anyone been happier that a joke landed than Seth after his Mikes joke. And good for him. He earned it.
  • @tubabelle
okay, I think it's obvious which episode should be submitted for the Emmy.. it's the one where Seth has a breakdown inside the Bird Bane mask. Episode 94. It also had Jennifer Hudson with googly eyes. I just rewatched and the bird bane part had me in tears all over again. Just hilarious!
  • @ACStuart
The witch told me that the curse would be broken after I had watched the 100th episode of Corrections. I should have known it was a trick.
  • @ginaheller333
Your impression of Werner Herzog as Shaggy from Scooby Doo is the best Corrections ever! I cried with laughter and rewatch often!
