  • I love the echoboost engines. It makes so much sense to use spent gasses to make the engine more echonomical.
  • @guuuu666
I love how the EcoBoost ingests air thru the compressor outlet and delivers boost out the inlet.
  • @PowerlabsDiesel
Can't even watch the video. I want to slap this guy for calling it an ECHO boost. I'm sure the engineers didn't name it after sound waves.... My guess would be eco for economy and boost well because it's turbocharged therefore ECOboost.
  • I came here to understand what the ecoboost engine does and this gentleman explained it perfectly. I'm not a gear head, and I appreciate his simple terms. I'm glad to have found a video that doesn't use jargon that goes over my head.
  • @FIGNAS83
I bet he can pronounce McDonald's correctly.

pin wheel? I think you mean turbine shaft buddy also very informative how you pointed to the compressor outlet as the turbo intake.....genius
  • @TonyTube407
Very well done, sir.  Explained so anyone can understand it.  Even though others pointed out the fact that it's a turbine, not a pinwheel,  I suspect you know very well what it is and chose the word "pinwheel" because most people know what that is, just as most people don't know what a "turbine" is.  Language for everyday folks.

My boy dale rocking that weave and explaining echo boost fantastically
  • @ProJanitor
This is quite possibly the finest real life troll I've ever seen. Good work, mister.
  • I really like how he talks about the turbo like its a new invention...
  • @dkhill27
ECO boost not ECHO. And its called a turbine not a pinwheel
  • WOW such invention .... turbo charger and direct injection. It seems you invented the wheel or the fire :)

Talk to mechanics about the Ecoboost engine and they'll tell you that the heads carbon up after 50,000 and the engines start running rough when they're cold. It has something to do with the larger heads they had to put on the engine to get the performance and fuel savings they needed.
  • @RellyOhBoy
I would believe him more if he were doing sandwich reviews...
  • @oldmilk3269
How many lbs of boost does the 2.0l engine produce?
  • @spamcans05
Me: can’t wait to see this. Video starts. Host: “Echoboost” Me: aight I’ma head out
  • @strider5119
I really enjoyed the very simplified explanation of how a turbo works. LOL
