This capture is of Alison Krauss, Union Station and Jerry Douglas performing on the Watson Stage at MerleFest25 on Sunday, April 29th, 2012. This is not my best video work from MerleFest but 90% of it is good. My apologies for the shaking and searching zooms. Dan sings "A Man of Constant Sorrow" and Alison closes up with some beautiful tunes. Alison's voice is what I imagine an Angel would sound like. Enjoy!

To think that Doc passed away a few weeks after this festival, that rendition of Your Long Journey is even more powerful.

She just gets better and better and more lovely. The mind boggles.

Excellent! That was one of the best encores I have ever witnessed. I loved the way they did it, and that, like Robert Plant last year, they chose to close with Doc and RosaLee Watson's "Your Lone Journey" - a true class act! Thank you for posting this!

Thank you for posting this! I was there and have never been captivated and brought to tears...was truly the most memorable finish to a Merlefest that I have seen...I have been to 14 now. Bless you...I can finally watch it again.
