  • This movie was mind blowing. I was in like 1st grade and we all bought Kiss Alive 2 and I always thought we were getting into a band that was already the biggest band ever and fans made the Kiss Army because they were so huge. Turns out it was all marketing and we fell right into it. Also bummer about Neil Bogart at the end, I didn't know that.
  • The KISS Army Things crew went out to the theaters and saw the film just a couple days ago. We had such a great time! Yes, it was more about Neil and his life, his story and legacy.... as it should be! Seeing KISS and Bill Aucoin and others included in the story on the big screen was SO cool! I'm gonna try and get this on DVD when it comes out.

Thanks for the honest review, Brant. I'll have to see where this movie is playing in the closest theater to me and decide if I wanna make the trip. It definitely looks like a great movie to see in the theaters. If not, I'll wait till it's streaming. I really enjoyed this whole review. Thanks.
  • WOW HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY BRO IM APRIL 14TH AS WELL WHAT A COOL COINCIDENCE 😎
  • Casablanca Records has a really unique history. Spinning Gold was pretty good and interesting. I think the book is more detailed, as the film is consise. The interview on Three Sides with Tim Bogart and Joyce Biawitz was really cool.

What was the reason that the movie didn't follow Kisstory accurately? The makeup, Shout it Out Loud at the introduction night and so on? Because if they purposely twisted it with Kiss, then what is to think the other artists history is flawed as well?

I’m a huge kiss fan from age 8 I’m now 57. Very interesting movie cause I like all the music like Donna Summer and Gladys Knight too, think maybe the time line was a little messed up?? I don’t know they were playing shout it out loud 1974?? And it was always talk about Kiss Alive was the savior of the record company?? But over all great movie and good music
  • I could be wrong, but i think Gene was a bit more more confident abut KISS then shown here. Ok also fucked up, Beth was taken by Bob Ezrin and re done from the music her heard., We writen from Chelsea , Peters old band. Tim Bogart says that the songs title was nemed after his first wife, Beth, Ezrin probably didnt know about that he renamed it Beth from Beck( Becky). Joyce being there at least gives us some hope that the events are close to what happened.
  • Sean said dye everyone's hair black and was the road manager

You just saved me $12 buddy.😀👍🏼
  • Actually....KISS saved the label. Could be a little of both...KISS and Summer...but I'm pretty confident in saying KISS ALIVE saved the label
  • @ThomDust
The age old question; “Did VV save KISS?” can now be answered, “No! Donna Summer did!”
  • They portrayed Neil great, but they messed up big time with kiss. From the makeup, to Rock N roll all nite, and shout it out loud being written in 1974. It’s disappointing
  • If Gene or Paul see the final film I wonder if there would be some problems. They havent said a word. Gene was involved at the begining years ago when Paramount was involved. Bill was always out on tour alot with KISS but dont know about Joyce. Facts around Beth are wrong I think, IMHO
  • Brant, are you owner of all these cars or do you run a car business 😀
