Sky is a natural born teacher. His explanations are marvelously simple and I am grateful. Thank you.

MADE IT!!! Oh, wow did I 'make it'. I just sat here nodding my head up and down, as he said words that are simple but so very profound. "Out Town" by Thornton Wilder has always been one of my favorite plays---I've read it and seen it a few times. It is such a very strong feeling in me, now that I'm older, and I think of the days my parents called 'Bonus Days"---days when we were together and feeling the love for one another---like the moment I remember sitting with my Mom and Dad at sunset in the Florida Everglades--and we had had a beautiful day with Nature--and I remember thinking "THIS is a special loving moment that one day I will long for again." And, of course, I have! There were so many 'Bonus Days" in my life. And the special connection days that my twin Alice and I shared--we were so happy and 'in the moment;. Thank you, Sky, for bringing back memories and emotions that are always deep inside me. You were a beautiful--and gentle--guest to listen to. I shall try to learn more about your Institute. And thank you Heather for finding such a heartfelt thinker. (He is a natural teacher, the way he gives an example for everything he says! I love it!) And I will always remember his message! Thank you both, so very much with all my heart, Lynn (My 'Emoji' are not working---so no 'heart' or 'funny face' are showing up! LOL!)
  • The parting words of Sky are truly astonishing and life changing

While listening to your favorite orchestral piece of music. try to visualize, all at once... The struggles each musician had learning to play their instrument. The struggles of all the musicians ancestors, that brought them into this world. The struggles of the people that cloth, feed and house those musicians It took all these people and all their struggles to bring all those musicians together to create the music you are now enjoying. It brings me chills, when I realize that the music was actually created by the works of all those people over all that time. The hardest part is trying to visualize this, “all at once”. This is how perfection is and was achieved, by the works and struggles of ALL. Struggle, is your sacrifice and contribution to the achievement of perfection. The God of perfection loves you for it. There are no mistakes.

In the late 90's my husband had an out of body experience after a liver transplant. He had severe pain and prayed for relief from the pain and Jesus took him out of his body to escape the pain! They sat and talked about pain, and the pain of the crucifixion. The next morning when I saw him in the hospital, he asked me to read the Bible to him. I randomly opened to Psalm 40! I started reading it and he said, "that happened to me last night!" That was God confirming what had happened to my husband was true! 🙏
  • Made it. Fantastic! Sky has a great way of conveying what is. Heather, I appreciate that you dont interrupt your guests. Great experience.
  • @mejkkg
Wow, his departing message was amazing! I will definitely have to remember that and apply it in my life. What an inspiration!
  • @Kayenne54
8:28 I totally agree. Gratitude gets me closer to that feeling of total acceptance and love faster than any other feeling to focus on, even love itself. It takes practice, to begin with. But I completely agree. Made it, and thank you both.
  • Breathtaking, profound, and the most important message anyone could hear. Thank you Sky for shining the light. Thank you Heather for showcasing with such finesse this extraordinary guy .🙏
  • Made it! Thank you, Heather, for this powerful discussion. My heart is swelling. I appreciate Sky's words, and I will view, Our Town, with a whole new perspective. Thank you, Sky, for your life-altering and insightful words.

At last more and more are waking up to the fact we are not what we think we are 🙂

Germany here. Made it! :-) And all three parts with Sky in a row for a second time at that! By the way: you are a truly wonderful host, Heather. Such a calm and soothing presence, and I really love that you do little series with your fascinating guests. Merry greetings from the other side of the pond! 💖
  • Made it! Watched all 3 and I thought he was wonderful and so profound! What a brain to work the way his does. He makes sense of so much! I need analogies sometimes so I can understand and he is very good at that! Thanks for having him as a guest Heather!

I've never had an NDE (that I'm aware of); regardless, I find them fascinating. Several years ago, I participated in a project in which I was taught the method of Transcendental Meditation (TM). Indeed, during these sessions I actually experienced a state of "bliss." Today, what works best for me is the practice of contemplative prayer. The bliss I find during these sessions has a combination of love, fulfillment, peace, and so much more. This is when I feel closest to God. Honestly, I don't think the experience of an NDE would benefit me - I think coming back here would be difficult. As for meditation, Thomas Merton sums it up "Meditation is the idea of awakening our interior self and attuning ourselves inwardly to the Holy Spirit, so that we will be able to respond to His grace". Sky, again, thank you!
  • This has brought me to tears and expanded my heart and mind to the joy of the now. Thank you so very much.
  • @garysalmirs1204
Wow. That entire interview from part 1 to 3 was so great. Thanks for bringing this to the table. It's funny when you mentioned the part about appreciating the present with your husband and kids. I have tried to use that thinking for many years with my own family. I am planning on reaching out to Sky to see if he can work with me as a trainer through Monroe Institute. Really appreciate what you're doing. I wish more people would hear these messages. This could help so many people.
