This is how you can complete the warpriest challenge a lot easier by having more dps time. This should make it only slightly harder than doing it the normal way.

This should make the activity only slightly harder than just doing it normally.

Obviously the superior strat is to pray to RNGesus that the knights never spawn on the left
  • @BallerHorn
For left knight you can change the aura through the floor. Have the person with the aura jump as high as they can and the person with the knight buff can pick it up from the platform rather than needing to drop all the way down and then pick it up. They'd still drop down after that to be with the rest of the team but the exchange timing becomes significantly more lenient with this method. If done correctly the people in the bubble can also continue doing DPS without ever losing the buff. The issue is the team will have to rotate from right mid to left mid if there is a left knight.

@cheese forever this was the absolute worst challenge I’ve ever done in all of Destiny, but thank you for the tips. We watched your video, made a few minor adjustments and got it done. Keep doing your thing mate!

My strat: When the left knight spawns and no-one is top there camping to kill him, the knight walks to the plate during the next few seconds. Everyone can do damage near the mid plate and when the timer has about 10s left, Titan Thundercrashes on left plate, picks the buff and drops down. This gives everyone more time to dps and makes the distance to the dps spot about second closer compared to spawn killing him to the corner. TL;DR: Thundercrash to the Taken Knight, not from it.
  • Clyde’s strat of using swords and thunder crashing to the group while still hitting priest for the crash damage seems like it might be better

That strat relies to much on supers for movement, my team also did some testing yesterday and came up with an really easy strat which doesn't rely on anything: We have 2 main places where we are doing damage from. 1. At the right bottom (similar to the Video) 2. At the left under the totem on that little balcony If we get the first buff on the left, we stay at the right side for the whole damage phase. If we get the first buff on the right we stay on that little balcony on the left for the entire damage phase. If we get the buff in the middle we rotate. If the first knight spawns at the right, we stay at the right damage spot until the buff got switched the first time and that rotate to the other damage spot. Same thing when the first knight spawns left but then we start at the left damage spot. For this strat it's important to know, that while staying on this little balcony on the left, the player with the aura can just jump straight up when the times is at 3-2 second, then it can be switched right through the floor and the new aura wielder can just jump down. With this strat the distances between the aura and the knight spawns are always super short.

my team had a similarish strat the left person who would take the brand, me in this situation, would run an enhanced eager edge sword and do 2 eager swipes. It covers the majority of the platform for the first swing and the 2nd swing is to carry the momentum to the aura that's inbetween middle and right pillar we also grabbed it around 5ish seconds because we wanted to have maximum damage but it was also cause grabbing it at any other time wouldn't be as effective just cause if we failed the challenge we'd wipe, and if we didnt grab the buff in time we'd also just wipe so it would probably be easier if you were an icarus dashing warlock so you dont have to do 2 eager edge swipes but i was hunter at the time and it worked perfectly fine. Also just pray that the Left plate is the plate that gets the aura first, it's such a life safer.

No thats just a waste of DPS. My team comp was: - 2 Hunters for massive Super Damage - 3 Warlocks for Well - 1 Aeon Titan to clean up and finish everything. For left, we simply rotated to just below the left Totem and did damage there and burned Middle Plate which means we werent wasting any Damage Supers. You lose a little damage but is easily made up for when you don't have to rotate left.
  • Nice strat we just need some try's to get it done 💪👊
  • You can use lament if you’re gonna do dps next to warpriest as well is not bad.
  • @Ravenger2559
balistic slams also a good option since you reach the ground faster and a melee
  • @xLaniakea_
Am i missing something? If you are on Arc for Thundercrash, why not use thruster near enemies since its on a shorter cooldown than rally? Does using thruster near enemies not refund super energy with Distribution on the class item or boots or whatever its on? (ig it would make sense that thruster wouldnt refund any energy, but idk it just says class ability in the mod description for distributiion)
  • @Kellestial
A strat a came up with in day 1 was if you sprint into the knight while invis u can just straight up drop him into mid pretty ez
  • @davidproweb
Could Tractor Cannon works, maybe? I did not tried. What I mean is, could the Tractor Cannon move the Knight closer to the aura before kill it?
  • @CoIson.
I just finished this and I was in charge of far knight, but to get my super back I ran storm nades+heart, with energy converter, elemental charge, and double arc helmet mods that give super energy on grenade kills
  • @TTK.0s
We just dropped a well left when the aura was first on right side And dropped a second well on right if the second knight spawns right
  • @evstar14
A similar strat that I used for day 1 was running pheonix dive + icarus dash on left side, however I also saw a video this morning by newo who used a stasis nade to freeze the knight and push him closer to the edge of the platform, then just shatterdived straight down.
  • @XenoGenic
I'd use Ballistic Slam if you're on the left, since is actually ALOT faster on the descend. Plus, it allows you during, to pick up any items once you're near. Hunters could use Shatter dive or Warlocks can probably boost themselves with Icarus then Phoenix Dive.
